Making Food Drone Delivery
a Reality

During my time at Flytrex, I contributed UI UX design work for both customer-facing and internal products. I worked on 4 different apps across all platforms, including the Flytrex food ordering app, the Flytrex driver app, the Flytrex pilot app, and the Flytrex ground control app.

My work aimed to enhance the user experience, increase customer retention, and drive business growth by streamlining site expansion and fleet management. On the customer-facing side, I assisted in redesigning the app's ordering flows to enhance the checkout process and incorporate a flexible menu for building orders.

About Flytrex

Flytrex is a drone-based food delivery service that offers fast, hassle-free delivery of restaurant meals. Using advanced drone technology, orders are delivered safely and promptly, benefiting customers with shorter wait times, environmental friendliness, and added convenience. Flytrex is transforming the food delivery industry by leveraging drones to provide unprecedented levels of flexibility and customer satisfaction.

Ground Control System app

Flytrex's Ground Control System app (GCS) is a platform for fleet management, flight networks, and admin tools. As part of the Flytrex design team, I led the redesign of the GCS app, including the dashboard, drone monitoring, route planning, and site management.

Our aim was to streamline workflows for operators and fleet managers by consolidating data views, simplifying navigation, and improving map planning for easier site expansion. The updated GCS app launched with enhanced efficiency and an intuitive interface, enabling seamless scaling of operations.

Food ordering app

As a product designer at Flytrex, I played a role in redesigning the Flytrex Food Order App, revolutionizing the way people order food for delivery. Working closely with cross-functional product teams, I designed complex features and collaborated on optimizing the app's navigation and ordering functionalities.

By focusing on creating an intuitive and visually appealing user interface, I aimed to provide customers with a seamless and delightful experience while browsing, ordering, and tracking their favorite meals. These enhancements further strengthen Flytrex's position as a leader in drone food delivery, elevating the overall dining experience for users.

Marketing

As the lead marketing designer and copywriter at Flytrex, I played a crucial role in enhancing the company's customer-facing branding. I worked closely with major restaurant chains to create branded marketing materials for partnership campaigns that would resonate with our target audience and effectively communicate the unique value proposition of Flytrex's drone delivery service.
